Cost is the #1 barrier keeping kids out of sports programs and youth sports. Your donation helps AOC provide services to schools, organizations and clubs who would not be able to afford fitness and youth sports participation programs. Our goal is to provide opportunity to every youngster who wants to participate, play and have fun.
If We Pay — Kids Play. Make a difference today!
Whether preparing elite young athletes for a college scholarship, developing self-esteem and confidence in middle and high school students, or strengthening corporate team building fundamentals, the AOC double goal coaching program creates better athletes and better people.
Research suggests youngsters who participate in team sports show fewer signs of anxiety, depression, withdrawal, social or attention problems.
Physical activity (PA) among youngsters is declining: 75% of high school students do not meet daily PA guidelines, and low rates of PA are most prevalent among high school girls. AOC school programs provide an optimal environment to promote fun physical activities for students.
AOC programs are rooted in having fun first: striving for excellence is fun; overcoming obstacles and challenges is fun; and learning how to be the best one can be is fun.
The sport format is an effective opportunity to teach lessons of life. Humans are wired to compete, as well as cooperate. AOC skills training prepares individuals to maximize their unique talents and develop strong team-based principles that will last a lifetime.
To begin elevating your child's physical and emotional state, review the AOC program priciples, training guidelines, and enroll at a local event.
